Junior Counselor
Our vision for the junior counselor program is to create an environment in which we are able to empower adolescents to become strong leaders with exemplary character, all while providing a fun and encouraging summer experience. The goal of this exciting new program is to develop leadership skills that your child will be able to use in all areas of his or her life.
In signing up for this program, you will have opportunities to play with kids and build into their lives, serve alongside the full time staff, as well as participate in your own activities with fellow junior counselors. As a junior counselor, you will have one staff member you will be accountable to who will be building into you, teaching leadership skills, and walking alongside you in the process of becoming a better you! You will be able to participate in many of the activities with the kids including field trips for adventure camps, and your own off campus excursions. Because of the volume of activities you will be able to participate in, this program will cost $100 per week.
We will have high expectations for our Junior Counselors and would really like you to look inside yourself and make sure this program is a good fit for you. While it is designed to be fun, there will also be many responsibilities.
We want to make sure we have individuals who are committed to the vision of Kruz Kidz. For this reason, our junior counselors will go through a modified interview process so we can get to know our candidates a little better. Participation is based on our selection process as well as a first come, first serve basis. So get those applications in!
